Compost Site
The Worcester Township Compost Site is located at Nike Park, 1575 North Trooper Road, just south of the intersection of North Trooper Road and Potshop Road.
At this this time the Compost Site accepts branches only. Worcester Township chips all branches received, and makes the wood chips available to our residents at no cost. The wood chips are available at the self-serve bins located at the Public Works complex, behind the Township Building, at 1721 Valley Forge Road. The bins are accessible 24/7.
The Compost Site will accept leaves (only) in 100% biodegradable paper bags. Worcester Township will compost the all leaves received, and this compost material is available to our residents at no cost.
Hours of Operation
- Open Wednesday and Saturday, 10am to 2pm, excluding holiday weekends.
Leaf Pick Up 2024
Worcester Township will be picking up leaves on October 30th, November 20th, and December 11th.
Residents must schedule a pick-up no later than 4pm on the Monday before collection day. Pick-ups can be scheduled by e-mail at leafpickup@worcestertwp.com, or by calling the Township Building at (610) 584-1410. Simply provide your street address and the estimated number of bags, and we’ll do the rest!
Leaves must be in a biodegradable leaf bag and placed at the curb prior to 7AM the morning of the scheduled date.
