  • Kitchen Wizard Virtual Cooking Camps- Starting July 5 and going throughout the summer!  Sign up online by clicking here to see all of the programs.  Cost per camp is $108.
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Celebrate America- (Ages 9-13, Grade 4-8) Learn to prepare food from various parts of the US – including Southern Cookin’, Philly Phoods, California Cuisine, and Tex-Mex.
      • August 2- August 5; 1:00pm-3:00pm
    •  Virtual Cooking Camp- Sweets for Sweeties- (Ages 5-8, Grade K-3) Kids often begin culinary adventures with making "sweets". Kitchen Wizards will help them feel more confident working in the kitchen, and children will be proud to share their creations with the family.
      • August 9-August 12; 10:00am-12:00pm 
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Cookies from Around the World- (Ages 9-13, Grade 4-8) "Travel" the globe as children learn what kinds of cookies kids in other countries enjoy.
      • August 9-August 12; 1:00pm-3:00pm
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Historical Doll Cooking- (Ages 6-11, Grade 1-6) Children will learn what foods their favorite historical character dolls would've eaten if they'd been REAL little girls in that era.
      • August 2- August 5; 10:00am-12:00pm
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Cooking Around the World- (Ages 9-13, Grade 4-8) Children will “visit” France, Mexico, Italy, and Greece through foods that are specialties of each of those countries.
      • August 16-August 19; 1:00pm-3:00pm
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Little Bites for Hungry Tykes- (Ages 5-8, Grade K-3) Who doesn’t like snacks? In this camp, featuring snack-y foods, perfect for play dates or after-school, our littlest chefs in-training will learn some tasty sweet and savory recipes and gain confidence working in the kitchen.
      • August 16-August 19; 10:00am-12:00pm
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Cooking Around the Clock- (Ages 7-11, Grade 2-5) Young chefs will become competent making a different menu each day – breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Gaining confidence working in the kitchen will help them learn an important life skill.
      • August 23-August 26; 10:00am-12:00pm
    • Virtual Cooking Camp- Chocolate, Chocolate, and More Chocolate- (Ages 8-12, Grade 2-7) In this camp, kids will learn to prepare all sorts of sweet treats – all of them chocolate! They’ll love making “from scratch” pudding, cupcakes, candies, cookies, and other chocolate-y desserts.
      • August 23- August 26; 1:00pm-3:00pm
  • PSCTA Tennis Under 10-  The always-popular PSCTA youth tennis program returns! Children ages 10 & under can learn the sport and develop skills with help of professional coaches from the PennSuburban Community Tennis Association. 
    • Fall Session: Wednesdays- September 8 to October 6 (Make-up Date if needed 10/13)
    • All sessions take place at the Heebner Park tennis courts. Children ages 5 to 8 will play from 5:15 to 6:00pm, and children ages 9 and 10 will take to the courts from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
      Cost: $60 for residents, $65 for non-residents. Players do not need anything except water, they supply all necessary equipment, if a child has a racquet then they should bring it.

REMINDER: Please register for programs as soon as possible! Programs can be cancelled as early as seven (7) days before the start due to lack of enrollment.

Little Free Library Reviewers Needed!

Do you love reading, and telling others about the great stories you’ve read? We’re looking for boys and girls ages 8 to 12 who want to read and review a book from the collection of children’s books in the Little Free Library at the Township Building. We’ll even print your review in an upcoming newsletter!

Children who are interested in becoming a world-famous book reviewer should ask a parent to contact the Township Building at (610) 584-1410, or download and complete this form, and ask a parent to e-mail this to Mary Ann Murray at
