Subdivision and Land Development Submissions

All subdivision and land development applications must be submitted at least 30 days before the next regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting to be considered at that meeting.

Applications received after the submission deadline will be scheduled for the following month’s Planning Commission meeting.

Minor Plan Review

Worcester Township has adopted a Minor Plan review process for certain smaller land development projects.

Generally, a project may qualify for Minor Plan review when:

  • The proposed new or expanded development is between 2,500 and 5,000 square feet.

  • An expansion does not exceed 50% of the existing development.

  • The total development does not exceed 7,500 square feet.

  • The project otherwise meets the requirements of the Township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance.

Qualifying Minor Plans may proceed to the Board of Supervisors following technical review without Planning Commission review, which can streamline the approval process for smaller projects. Waivers may also be considered where permitted by the Township’s ordinances.

Township staff will determine whether a proposed project is eligible for the Minor Plan process.

Public Review of Plans

All submitted plans are available for public review at the Worcester Township Building, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
