Snow Removal

The Public Works Department is committed to providing the quickest and safest response to hazardous road conditions.

Reminders & Tips for Worcester Township Snow Removal

Plows travel in the same direction as normal traffic flow, sometimes pushing snow at the end of residents’ driveways. To minimize the amount of snow pushed in front of your driveway, put shoveled snow on the right side of the driveway.

Mailboxes are often a problem. Unless a township vehicle actually strikes your mailbox, the township cannot offer reimbursement or repairs. Mailboxes are installed at your own risk within the right-of-way. Please be sure your mailbox is sturdy and doesn’t stick out into the roadway. Call your local Postmaster for installation guidelines.
