Worcester Township Community Hall

The Worcester Township Community Hall was constructed in 1919 for the purpose of promoting sociability and cooperation, to advance agriculture and horticulture, to maintain a hall for public and private use, and activities that advance the interest of the community. Ownership of the Worcester Township Community Hall (previously known as the Fairview Village Assembly Hall) was transferred to the Township in 1983 and it is currently used for Township meetings.

Farmers Union Hall

The Worcester Township Historical Society was organized in 1975 to preserve the rich historical heritage of the Township. The Society purchased the Evangelical Congregation Church on Valley Forge Road in 1983. The Farmers Union Hall was later renovated by the Society in 1987 and serves as its museum and Library. Located in this facility are many items of historical interest including articles for sale such as William M. Bourne's series of signed prints of "Center Point Circa 1910", "Fairview Village" and "Cedars Village", also Circa 1910. Due to its popularity, a third printing of the History of Worcester book is being considered. (These items may be purchased at Allen Antiques by telephoning 610-584-5559.) This building is open by appointment. For more information call Mary Jane Reese at 610-584-6031 or Marianna Nulty at 610-539-3175. For assistance with the Historical Society's library and family history genealogy, please call Mary Jane Reese.
