Heebner Park Trail

Heebner Park boasts both paved and natural trails for all users.  Heebner Park trails will connect you to the new Zacharias Creek Trail that will be completed in the near future.

Heyser Field Trail

The Heyser Field Trail was built in Summer 2012 as an Eagle Scout service project by Paul Steuer and his volunteers from Troop 152. The trail is approximately 700 feet in length, winding through the trees behind the Heyser Ring. Parking for this trail is at the Worcester Township Community Hall (1031 Valley Forge Road).

Moran Trail

The Moran Trail is a half mile long and traverses the mature woods and open fields. The trail connects Methacton High School to Evansburg State Park's trail system at Mill Road. A small parking lot is available at the entrance to the Moran Trail at Grange Avenue and Mill Road.

Zacharias Creek Trail

Phase 1 Development

The first phase of the Zacharias Trail opened in 2008. The trail runs along the Zacharias Creek, between Green Hill and Hollow Roads. There is a parking lot at the Green Hill entrance.

Phase 2 Development

The expansion of Zacharias Trail behind Heebner Park and leading to Hollow Road has been completed in the Fall of 2014.  The new portion of limestone carries over approximately 1600 feet of new trail to enjoy (see photo to the left).

Worcester Township was awarded a grant in the amount of $202,428 from the Pennsylvania Department of  Community and Economic development. The expansion will connect Phase I to Evansburg Park on the west.  To the east, the trail will follow Hollow Road, to the back of Heebner Park.

The installation of a boardwalk will be installed in Summer 2015 and all remaining trail development will be completed by Fall 2015.  With the completion of Phase 2, trail users can connect from Heebner Park to the border of Skippack Township on the trail.
