Looking for a safe and responsible way to discard used motor oil, an old bottle of weed killer, or your son’s 8th-grade science experiment gone awry? The good folks at Montgomery County make it easy to dispose of the bad stuff in your home through its annual hazardous household waste collection program. And the service is free for Montgomery County residents! Business and industrial wastes are not accepted. The next HHW collection will be held on Saturday, May 18, Temple University Ambler Campus, 1341 East Butler Pike, Ambler, 9am to 3pm. Click here for all 2019 HHW collection dates and times, lists of acceptable and unacceptable materials, and more program information.
The next tire collection (also free!) will be held on Saturday, June 8, at the Montgomery County Community College, 1313 Morris Road, Blue Bell, 9am to noon. Business tires not accepted, limit 10 tires per resident. Click here for all 2019 tire collection dates and times and more program information.
